For those of you who are new to my blog, it's the perfect time for a re-introduction. Allow me to share a little about myself.

I'm a kiwi living in Australia, but my adventurous spirit has led me to reside in four different countries over the past 10 years - New Zealand, Australia, Fiji, and the Seychelles. Talk about wanderlust! Along the way, We’ve relocated from one side of Australia to the other, eventually settling in Regional QLD. Our life has been a whirlwind, especially the past two years, as We’ve been busy renovating our 100-year-old bungalow with our rescue cat and two energetic cattle dogs. 🐱🐶

About a year ago, I found myself in the hospital struggling with debilitating pain. After undergoing numerous tests, I was diagnosed with Diverticulitis. This revelation brought about a massive lifestyle change and the discovery of intolerances to dairy, cashews, eggs, and yeast. But you know what? Embracing this new way of eating and living has allowed me to be "Pain Free", and it's been an incredible journey.

Something even more powerful and close to my heart. Having personally experienced childhood sexual abuse trauma as well as mental and emotional trauma, I am deeply passionate about advocating for women to reclaim their power. I believe that we all deserve to live life to the boldest and fullest, knowing that our past doesn't define us. We have the power to create our own extraordinary future.

In addition to overcoming personal challenges, my husband and I have also embarked on a lengthy adoption process following two unsuccessful IVF cycles. It's been a four-year journey, and we are patiently waiting for that magical phone call that will forever change our lives. The anticipation is both nerve-wracking and exciting. 🤞

I have a few simple, yet essential loves in life - coffee, travel, and the beach. Give me a good cup of coffee, a new destination to explore, or the feeling of sand beneath my toes, and I'm in my happy place. ☕🌴

I met my incredible and loving rock of a husband at the Fiji airport, I say it was love at first sight, he says it was lust at first sight, either way we’ve been together ever since………

But above all, the one thing I'm really looking forward to is embracing motherhood. I cannot wait for the day when I get to hold my little one in my arms and experience the boundless love that a child brings. It's a dream I hold close to my heart.

Now that you know a bit about me, let's make the most out of this journey together. My motto in life is simple, yet powerful - Be Powerful, Loving, and Passionate, by being you. Let's inspire and uplift one another as we navigate through life's beautiful chaos. 🌟

With Love and Light Rachel. Xxxx
